For loot distribution Bloodline uses a DKP system for all raiders. This will allow you, in 25 man raids, to earn points which are then used to bid on loot to get items you need to progress. This post will explain a bit about our system and how it's used. When will I get or lose DKP? DKP will be awarded for all raids, however the values given for different raids will vary based on the status of the raid. The point system used will be listed further down this page. DKP will be awarded after a raid, therefore you will not be able to spend any points accumulated during that raid until the next raid night. As well as accumulating dkp it is also possible to lose dkp. Points will be removed from you based on the following criteria:- Not turning up for a run you have signed up for on the forums : -25 dkp Causing a raid to start late by not being prepared with consumables, busy in an instance or being late for the time stated on the forums (without prior warning) : -25 dkp Breaking the guild rules : -25 dkp. DKP Decay As of patch 3.3 we have now introduced a DKP decay system to help promote signups and hopefully avoid DKP hording. The following decay will take place on a weekly basis after the final official raid of the reset (Monday):- 75%+ Signups the previous week (3/4, 4/4) You loose 0 dkp 50% Signups the previous week (2/4) You loose 7.5% of your total dkp 25% Signups the previous week (1/4) You loose 15% of your total dkp 0% Signups the previous week(0/4) You loose 20% of your total dkp This decay is based on your current DKP at that point. The officers have the ability to ommit people from decay under exceptional circumstances or if informed of a period of absence. Signups are based on 25 man raids. Off night signups are not counted towards the weekly total. When can I spend DKP? You may spend your dkp on any drops in 25 man raids by sending a silent bid to the current raid leader. There is no restrictions on the number of items you may bid on. A minimum and maximum bid may be set by the raid leader at the point of linking the loot. If multiple bids are made of the same value, the person with the highest current dkp will win that item, if the bidders have the same bid AND the same current dkp the item will go to the person with the highest dkp earned. You can bid anything from your DKP pool or the minimum only if it either takes you into - DKP or you are in -DKP when you make the bid. You may bid on items that are not for your class or primary spec, however the first bids that will be considered are for those bidding for primary class/spec. Only if the item is not bid on by a primary spec/class will it pass on to dual spec classes, and finally to secondary specs. The primary classes that items are used for are decided by your Raid Leader, any complaints about item distribution MUST be kept until after a raid and must only be directed to the raid leader. Loot distribution is still at the discretion of the raid leader in the event of a contested item. What are the minimum DKP values? Current minimum DKP values are displayed below. Icecrown All Tier 10 : 70 DKP None Tier 10 : 50 DKP Trial of the Crusader All Tier 9 : 50 DKP None Tier 9 : 50 DKP How much DKP do I currently have? Your dkp value can be checked on our dkp site at the following address... Clicky Link DKP is capped at 750 dkp, so it is in your best interest to spend it when items you require are available. DKP allocation The following points will be given in various raids. These points are non-negotiable and will apply to every member of Bloodline. Icecrown 5 DKP Per Hour 10 DKP for being invited 10 DKP for signing up but not being invited Bosses : 25 DKP per boss kill (50 for a "first kill") Trial of the Crusader 5 DKP Per Hour 10 DKP for being invited 10 DKP for signing up but not being invited Bosses : 15 DKP per boss kill For attending scheduled raids you will be awarded a fixed amount of dkp for being invited, ontime and ready (failure on any of these points will incur a dkp penalty). If you are online as required but are not invited due to raid balance you will receive a lower amount of dkp as listed above. If you are not invited due to gear requirements then you will recieve 0 dkp. For every boss downed in these raids you will also be awarded the dkp listed above. First time kills on bosses will be rewarded with a bonus amount of dkp. We will also be allocating dkp per hour on top of the dkp per night for runs which are still in the 'progression' stage. Please be aware of your current dkp value at all times as officers will NOT be responsible for keeping you up to date. If you have any queries about the dkp allotment system, speak to an officer. Also please keep checking this topic as dkp values are subject to change at all times without prior warning. |
